Help us defeat those that are trying to make our schools into supersized mega districts. Arm yourself with the facts and make an informed decision about unification.

What will happen if unification passes in our local districts:

• Property Taxes Will Increase for many households in our community
• The curriculum taught in each grade level will remain the exact same. The State of Arizona already dictates the curriculum taught in each grade level.
• Districts must dedicate funds to deal with unification that typically go into the classroom
• It will cost the state of Arizona 40 million dollars to equalize teacher salaries between districts that unify
• Creation of these large government agencies means less local control over our communities schools
• To deal with overcrowding the new district must bus students farther away from their community

If unification passes a newly elected school board will be faced with these decisions. With no money to pay for additional needs forced upon the district by unification, they will be left with very few options.
